Allright all Majestic Blue owners

My new ride is in and I am having second doubts about the color, yes I know it is a sweet color. But I also like the white and am selling a 2K1 Grey Lustre. So what do you current Majestic owners think? are you still happy with the color? BTW my new ride has the black leather, it is kinda greyish, damn I wish it was really dark black, and the roof liner isn't black, it is the frostish color.

I think the Glacier Pearl and the Grey Lustre are very nice indeed. Those also seem more rare around here.

I don't believe in regrets. The fact that the White and Grey Lustre comes with frost/tan put the Blue over the top. I didn't want the light color interiors.

The white is definitely eye-catching. The Grey Lustre is almost rare, and is nice when clean. The Blue is cool, but it doesn't shine as well as Black, White etc.

I think it is natural to regert buying the color you want. I Sometimes I look at the white and wish I would have gotten white as well, but I get so many compliments with the Majestic Blue. I have sharcoal interior and when I first got my car the leather seem greyish but once you start using leater conditioner that goes a way it supple and black now. I wish Nissan would have detailer my leather before I purchased my Max though.

So to answer your question No I wouldn't buy a difference color is I had a 2nd chance. Most people a lot of people think Majestic Blue is the best color for the 5th gen Max(plus you can get w\charcoal leather)

Why is your black leather greyish? Mine's really dark black, definately not greyish. You sure it's not the Gray leather you got?

On behalf of the Blackgums,

When I first got my Maj Blue w/char leather it was greyish because the leather was new and wasn't conditioned you may of has your interior detailed before you bought the car.

What % tint do you have on your car? It looks like 20% and in the right side pic it looks like either 35% or you took that pic before you got your windows tinted.

I really like my Majestic Blue 2K2. I like some of the other colors too but, the Majestic Blue just has a unique look to it if you keep it clean.

I do not know what % the windows are the sides and the back are the same.
I know it is not to dark so the cops will not bother me
to dark a tint is illegal
I saw a maxima in the show room with tinted windows,I told to copy that tint. I guess maybe 35%

Re: Allright all Majestic Blue owners

My 2k Max SE is Black on Black, which I thought were the "classic" Maxima colours. When we went to get our 2k2, I was going to go black but then had second thoughts. I find the black starts to look cheap when the its gets dirty, which is pretty much most of the time. I don't know why I feel like this, its just the black seems to be not as nice.

So we started looking at Majestic blue, and I debated along time because I didn't want a light blue colour. The only thing we had to help us decide was a Majestic Blue AE in the showroom, under fluorescent lighting.

Finally decided to get the Majestic Blue and I haven't look back. It gives the car a nice classy look. I'm glad I got it instead of black. Personally, I find it kind of looks like that BMW blue.

The lighter colour do look better on the 2k2 for some reason. Saw a white 2k2 the other day and it looked really nice.

Your right about Majestic blue it is the same as BMW blue I had a 5 series at the car wash next to me. He got so tired of staring at my car, and came over and started talking to me asking How much I paid for the car, and how much HP it had. Mind you he was shocked to here 27K and 255Hp. His paint had swirls and look terrible so I turned him on to Zaino and told him where to get it from.

I will definately keep the leather conditioner in mind, after a month or so I will treat it. Just like after a month or so I will either Zaino it or Klasse it, can't decide yet.

I'm personally relieved i chose Sterling Mist, it being a light color, easy to keep clean, easy to help hide paint chips. I would hate to even think about black or majestic blue with the great nissan paint......JAKE02

I would love Silver, to bad Nissan doesn't make it, Infiniti has a sweet Silver. I am happy with the Blue, true it must be clean to look nice, no different than my current Grey lustre or Superblack.

I see you have Stillen FSTB on your 2002 Maxima....

I have a question, did Stillen FSTB fit fine?

Some people here told me that it won't fit on 2002 Maxima. They said Stillen told them that they making a new FSTB for 2002 Maxima. I have a Stillen FSTB from my 2000 Maxima.
I tried installing it this weekend on my new 2002 Maxima and everything fit fine. I just want to make sure that it fits fine on your car too?

Thanks.

I had two pearl whites before this one ('96 and '00) and I like the Maj Blue so much better. At first I wasn't sure I liked how much the taillights stand out, but now I do. The dark blue shows dirt easier, but looks so much nicer when it is clean, and the pearl whites are prone to oxydation discoloration (I know from experience). I like the Sterling Mist a lot but my Altima is silver (and my next car probably will be too) so we didn't want two silver cars in the garage.
