My Remote for my 96 I-30

Hey guys, im running into some problems with my remote for my Infiniti I30.. Recently, the remote was working fine i would press and it locks like half a second after i press and the hazards blink.. But a while ago, it began to take longer..So i had to hold the button for LONG.. i mean LONNNGG like 30 seconds, then it would lock and the hazards would blink twice.. Somtimes the lock wouldnt work at all! The Unlock button once pressed took a bit long from b4, but still worked.. and sometimes it wouldnt work at all either! But the trunk works fine..

So obviously, the battery was gone.. so i replaced it.. and tried again, and still nothing.. IS something wrong with my remote? I never dropped or sat on it.. Im thinking of re-programming it to see what happens.. Relays? Anything?

Any help? Should i get a new remote? defects? Please respond.. Thanks very much..

somtimes the contacts on the inside of the remote get corroded/dirty. you can take it apart and try to clean the contacts or take it to a stereo shop and they should be able to hook it up.

Maybe consider buying another one on ebay and programming it if you follow the other guys suggestion and the problem remains. Peace: e3 - spamman
