Springs going in, but friend confused me!

Guys, I was going to install the H&R springs on Monday, when my Buddy said to change the shocks with it. So now Im stuck, what should I do. Change them? What brand is the best. Warranty is good to have. My other question is this, should I just get coilovers if I'm spending all this money?

Please help me combine all this !!!!

How many miles do you have on your car? Usually stock shock/struts will last maybe 10,000 miles with aftermarket springs. But if you have high mileage I suggest you change them all at once.

EDIT: Coilovers do not come with shocks/struts. They are adjustable springs. If you get coilovers, get KYB AGX's (which are adjustable) but I don't think are out yet. Another possibility are Konis, which I don't think are out yet either.

No, H&R just makes springs. Ground Control makes coilovers which use Eibach springs.

sooner or later, u'll blow ur stock shocks..might as well change them at the same time so you don't have to pay for the labor twice.

choose from Koni, AGX and Tokico...they are in the order of from most expensive to the cheapest.
(Koni shocks will require assembly, meaning little bit more labor)
