Got my ASC Sunroof Installed Today!

Hey all,
Just wanted to let ya know that I got my ASC Sunroof installed in my '00 SE today, and its awesome! The shop did an incredible job on it; looks like a factory job. The only difference from a stock one is that the controls are in a separate pod from the overhead console.

If anyone in the NY/NJ area is interested in having one done, go to Purich Auto Sunroofs in Bogota (Bergen County). This shop also does full leather interior installations and carriage tops (though you wouldn't want one on a Max).

how much you paid? At first I cried w/o sunroof, but in my area (Baltimore) only AutoConcepts does them, the ones that are factory-style, and they're pretty firm on the price, 900-1000. There's a place in York, PA thhey do it for like 800-850, they come and pick up your car...I decided not to do it..

I paid around $1K, tax and all. Not a bad deal, the dealership wanted $1200. Guess the extra $200 is their fee for calling the shop to do it.

True enough, but mine is a 2000, not a new one. The SE that I found on the lot was a lease turn-in with only 21K miles, and was basically mint. However, it is a base SE; no C&C, no 'roof, no leather, no 17s. I just bought the trunk net today too!

I'm not too sure...what are the dimensions on a stock one? I can measure mine tomorrow in the daylight and let you know if its bigger.
