ummm no

theyre are pretty much the same weight, and if I'm not mistaken, the vr6 jetta has 170 hp. Unless it has a supercharger, it shouldn't be too much of a problem

2.8L 174 hp, 181 lbs-ft torque, 6 cylinder VR6.

The 4 cyl. turbo has more HP. The GTR's curb weight is 3,000 lbs same as the Jetta give or take 50 lbs...

How much do we weigh?

VW's BLOW!!!!!!!!!!

The shame of Germany...

you have to race a vr6 from 70 mph and up.. they have no top end.. but they have 3 short gears and they will kill you from a dead stop.. FYI.. 2002 vr6's have 201 hp .. some 1999 GTI vr6's had 201 hp.. oh also.. for some reason the GTI's are faster than the jetta's

What year maxima do you have?

If you have a 2002, then no problem.

I'll state again, you don't know what you are talking about. Only the current model year VR6 has 201hp and possibly the 99+ GTI (but that doesn't pertain the the Jetta). That means all previous model years are 174hp. That means 99% of the VR6s you face have 174hp. That means that every 4th gen maxima has more HP than 99% of the VR6s on the road. And where you got the "lighter" part I dont know. They are the same weight as a GLE, heavier than all the others. VeeTecs 97 SE weighs 2955 with fluids. That 3054lb you listed is a manufacturers dry weight, that's not the actual weight of the car as it sits on the street. Next please.
