New best at the track.

I ran once real quick right off the highway. I should've quit right then. It was my best run all day. Runs went at follows:

1) .68 R/T 2.28/60ft 15.05 91.24mph
2) .70 R/T 2.37/60ft 15.18 90.85mph
3) .83 R/T 2.35/60ft 15.16 91.31mph
4) .94 R/T 2.41/60ft 15.17 91.85mph
5) .98 R/T 2.41/60ft 15.20 91.35mph
6) .75 R/T 2.32/60ft 15.10 91.40mph

I ran the first run with my 17's on. Then I switched to my 15" stock wheels and it went all downhill from there. I couldn't hook-up. I tried flooring it like I do with my 17's, horrible spin. The whole front of the car would slide sideways. So I tried easing into it and that resulted in bad reaction times and slow 60ft's. I'm so frustrated to be teetering on the edge of 14's and I couldn't get it. They're not bad times I guess but I was hoping for more.

Mount some drag radials on those 15s and you should see 14s.

Way to go Travis!!! Were you racing at MO/KAN or KCIR? Damn, I'm gonna have to get my 60's down because you're closing in on me and you're an auto I've got all the local 5 speed guys easily beat, but not you. You're corrected ET for altitude is 14.89@93mph. Be proud, buddy. You've got a 14-second auto, you just need to find a stickier and sea level track, which apparently is impossible in the midwest region. How about you buy some drag radials and you let me borrow them

It was at Mo-Kan.

So I can change my sig to 14.8? If I can get my launches down, I'll be there. The tires I have on my 15's are probably the worst tires in the world, so drag radials here I come. What should I expect to pay? Any suggestions? Dave, you can borrow them when I come up there. It sucks down here cause all the Honda guys share a couple of sets but they're all 4-lug.

I'll pay you to let me run them. I too am considering them. Make sure to get the 15" drag radial. I hear BFG makes the best drag radials in terms of traction. I believe a 205/60R15 (ideal size) is like $105 a piece. Check the Tire Rack.

BTW, congrats on the run at MO/KAN. We'll be KCIR this weekend. I haven't heard anything about the dyno.
