Well if your stock you will get ripped on even if your 5speed, I think...I know the regular RSX's arent fast...you might have a slight chance if you have 5spd with a few mods,(I/Y/E) but dont take my word for it

No the regular RSX's are slow but the RSX-S will give a 5spd (I/Y/E) a good run for its money..
Just my $$.02

I have beaten an RSX-S several times at the track. Those things are very hard to launch. Chances are he will either bog the engine or get huge wheelspin. Either way, you can take him off the line.

Go for it.

1995 is also the fastest stock Max(other than 2K2 of course) so it should be a good race.

True...but mileage and age can kill that advantage.

95 is the lightest by a small margin, and is the fastest according to a few magazines

High mileage can't nessasarily kill that advantage, more carbon makes for more power as it's smoother, so I've read, no real proof.

i lost to a MX-6 when i first bought my car just because my front wheels would not stop spinning.

but to experienced drivers.. it makes really no difference...

Yup

Lightest and least emmissions. High mileage can actually work to your advantage. New cars are always about .1-.3 slower than when their broken in (20,000 miles+)...don't you ever read C&D long range tests?

95 ownz: 96,97,98,99,00,01

2002 ownz: all

And we ALL own 1st-3rd gen. Max's

i would work on my car's performance if they actually sell the parts~~ most of the parts come out in the 2nd half of this year..
i am still trying to decide wether to go n/a+nos or super charger..

maximas are sedans not sports cars which is why our cars dont look sporty without much customizing.
I always thought the 96 gxe was the lightest of all the gen 4 cars
