Accelerating Cable

Has anyone checked the tension on their accelerating cable??
Should it be a snug fit onto it's harness?
Mine is a little loose, is there a way to tighten it? I had it done thru the dealer approx 10k ago, but I'm not satisfied with what they've done since it's become a little loose again.

It should be a little loose or else the cable will strech and that will be a pain to replace. How loose would you say it is like how much flex in the cable?

I would say it's definately looser than the cruise cable.

As for the flex on it, have not checked. How does one go about checking the flex or simply, measuring it?

Basicly I just meant pushing down on it to see how much it moves. Just a rough estimate.
