Super Plasmas or Xtreme Whites or Super Whites - What are the differences, pros and cons - I am replacing both my fogs and heads.

Thanks

depends on what you are looking for I guess. My experiences with both the super plasmas and the Xtreme whites are good. Both are really bright, but the plasmas omit more of a blueish purple, where the Xtreme whites are just really white (4200k) with a slight blue tint depending on the angle.

The Xtreme Whites will be closer to the Kelvin rating of HID's (4300K) with 4150K. I think there are new bulbs that are Xtreme Whites for low beams and SuperWhites for highbeams, similar to the Super Plasma's. They are a crisp white and bright with a slight blue tint.

I personally like the Super Plasma's. They give off an HID-like purple and are rated at 5000K. You can see fine with these bulbs because they are white with a some hints or light purple behind the wheel. One thing that I find weird with these bulbs is that it alters your beam pattern slightly. Highbeams are Superwhites so you can still see fine.

For fog lights, I've heard that the Xtreme White's give off a purple light similar to the SuperPlasma H4's.

I think both bulbs are similar in cost. I like both bulbs.

I also have a bulb question, are there such things as Superwhite signal bulbs as opposed to blue, yellow, orange, green, purple, clear?

super white siganls

yeah there are super white signal bulbs. Right now i have Polargs, however I know PIAA makes them. One thing I am sure you understand, is that the bulb will only omit that super white hue when the turn signal is on.
