I just put in my PIAA Ion yellow fog light bulbs in my Max....They arent as yellow as I espected, but they look awesome. And even more than looks, they are a MAJOR improvment in visibility....They light up the road very well....Just thought I'd share that ....

 

I installed them 3 months ago. They do help with visibility. good lights. check my homepage for pics.

 

i had them and swicthed to the Hella Yellow Stars cause the Piaa just wasnt yellow enough.

The old YellowStars were real yellow, but when I went to replace them they were pale yellow (the Piaas seem more yellow than the YellowStars I got), and I did try and replace it with the same wattage. I think that they changed suppliers or something because they are not nearly the same. BTW, I tried the replacement last July. . .

 

I am just curious to know if when you guy purchased the PIAA ion's did the package have Japanese lettering all over it? I think that not all PIAA ion's are the same, it seems to me that the Japan spec ones cast more of a yellow light.

 

My case had all the japanese writing on it. Not sure if it's more yellow though?
