When I did mine all I disconnected what the part that connect to the TB itself. From there I jsut lowered it beneather the TB and cleaned it out. That might work just as easily for those who are going to take this on.

The most important thing of all, never ever rush. If something does not fit back into it's original place, take a break and come back to it.
Good luck man.
Here is another write up, this is the one that I originally used.
I'd look at both to get a better understanding

Click Engine, then Throttle Body Clean

Great page! I read in some other posts that you should use throttle body/air intake cleaner instead of carbeurator cleaner. Something about stripping the inner coating of the throttle body. any thoughts? Also, did you do it with the engine running or off? different people did it different ways - just curious how you did it.

If you read the back of most carb cleaners, they state: Do not use on a Fuel injection system.
Just get the throttle body cleaner in the picture, it's what I used, plus the angled spray nozzle makes it so much easier
?!
Actually, your picture was what i was referring to - it says "Carb Choke and throttle body" cleaner, which is meant for carbeurators. The one I used says "Fuel injected/Air intake throttle body cleaner" or something to that effect, but certainly not "Carb."

first i did the procedure with engine off.
second i did not find any other throttle body cleaner but then again i really didn't look too hard, but pep boys sells the same can i got at kmart for a dollar more...
third i'll be thinking of some common writeups to do and they should be up soon. i was thinking of how to remove door panels, and how to remove gauge cluster to install gauge dash/indiglos.
****MaxVQ, Motorvate write up is the bomb, thats where i got the idea to do my write up. i couldn't find any good instructions until someone linked me his site..my car was running so sh*tty, i just wanted to put in some more detailed pics and since i have a crap load of space left on my site i figured why not use it.
