Can someone help me connect my air horns to my alarm.

Can someone help me connect my air horns to my alarm.

I have it set up but the horn doesn't "flash" It is just a solid blast. I hooked up a flasher but I don't understand what is wrong. Please look at the picture and tell me what I did wrong and how I can fix it. Or just tell me how to do it or provide a link to a how to.

Thanks

If you can't see the picture it is basically my air horn is hooked up with a relay and I split the power from the siren and put a flasher with 2 diods on it and put it into the turn on wire of the horn.

Can't see the pic or really understand you explanation but...

splice off the + of the siren and send it to the flasher -> trigger (85 or 86) on relay to airhorn. You shouldn't need diodes.

Thats what I did

+ from siren --> flasher --> trigger on relay

(I even flipped the flasher but that didn't work either)

but if you dont put diods the siren will go off when you honk the horn.

Then you will need the diode if you have it hooked up to the horn as well. I'm not too sure about the flasher hookup, then... I'll try to find out some more but that was the way I thought they were supposed to be wired.

I'm wondering if you might need some resistor for the flasher...
