I was wondering how difficult it is to install the energy suspension bushings? Can it be done in your garage? And do you need special tools

Alll depends on your skill level and how

comfortable you are under the car on stands. How prepared are you for the unknown ie. seized bolts or old bushings that are resisting leaving their home.

On mine, the knuckle had to come off the rotor assembly because the screw securing the control arm to was impossible to break loose with an open ended wrench which was the only way to get at it. The big control arm bushing gave a lot of resistance and the mid control arm just refused to come out.

This was about three hours labor by a trained mechanic with air tools and lift. I was glad I didn't tackle this one on jack stands.
