To everyone with UPRD ECU.....
Hi!
Ok the underdrive pulley doesn't make power. In reality it free's power by spinning your assesories less. So the compromise is less amprage from your alternator, less power going to the power steering pump etc...
Now for the real world effects? Dunno?
I saw your name and had to reply.

UPRD ECU
Well, as for as I know there are only three people with this mod, Cheston and Nabil in Socal, and Emax95 on the forum, but Emax95 has to get a clutch so he hasn't seen all the benefits first hand. As soon as the group deal goes through, I will be in on it. If you haven't already, check out http://www.maximadriver.com for UPRD ECU info. The more people the lowere the price, so join the list.....
What year is your car?
I have the JWT ecu, and that thing is pretty impressive. I guess I don't know enough about the URDP as far as price and everything to really compare, but the upgraded ECU makes a pretty significant difference, as far as my JWT goes. I haven't dynoed my car yet, but seat of the pants reaction is that it is pretty close to those numbers.
