Did you guys notice a diiference with this mod. Are the 20+ HP gains a reality? What do you guys think...I am seriously considering it as my next upgrade.

Ok the underdrive pulley doesn't make power. In reality it free's power by spinning your assesories less. So the compromise is less amprage from your alternator, less power going to the power steering pump etc...

Now for the real world effects? Dunno?

I think he was refering to the ECU program that UPRD has out now, not the underdrive pullies.(hehe)

 

Remeber WiseGuy the only thing that really creates power is forced induction all of the other mods we do really only free up power...

Well, as for as I know there are only three people with this mod, Cheston and Nabil in Socal, and Emax95 on the forum, but Emax95 has to get a clutch so he hasn't seen all the benefits first hand. I have the JWT ecu, and that thing is pretty impressive. I guess I don't know enough about the URDP as far as price and everything to really compare, but the upgraded ECU makes a pretty significant difference, as far as my JWT goes. I haven't dynoed my car yet, but seat of the pants reaction is that it is pretty close to those numbers.
