Trenz Grill Owners please reply

Well i've had my grill for awhile now, but its odd, i have 1 vertical metal piece down the middle of my grill.

I look at most of the other grills on the .org and it seems no on else has this? did some epople cut it out/off? Thanks for the info!

If you have a 95-96, then you are talking about the grille insert, which has a vertical metal piece down the middle.
The 97-99 grille and valence do not have the vertical metal piece, just horizontal ones.
Many people did not buy the 95-96 insert because of this.

I have a 97 maxima, with a 97-99 grill insert and it does come with the vertical center line down the middle!!!

Was it just luck of the draw? or how come i have a vertical line?!?! Most 97's dont! Anyone else?

Trenz recently changed the design of the grille to add strength. Without the bar, the middle horizontal bars may bend, and overall are not as strong as it should be. I contacted Trenz about it and they said that they all have to be done like this. To make it the old way is more difficult and will cost ALOT more. Sorry if you liked the old design better.
