I doubt if these tires will do you any good if installed on your Max! You may run into problems because of the height. I have a GXE also, and I run 215/60/R15's in the summer, and 205/65/R15's in the winter. For the summer tires, I run a set of Yokohmas Avid Hi-performance tires. These are excellent tires and much more "quiet" than comparable hi-performance tires. I had a set of Pirelli's before, and they were very noisy and the tread "worn" very fast. I was very disappointed with these tires for how expensive they were. Get a set of 215/60's and you'll be glad you did so. Actually, this is the recommended "offset" size when upgrading from the stock 205/65.

I've seen that size most common on BMW's w/ 15" rims
