96 SE.... CD changer question...

Hi guys, was there an option to have an OEM CD-Changer on the 96 Maxima SE when bought brand new? If so, how many discs could it hold.

Also, if the car isn't equipt w/ a CD-Changer, is it possible to add one to the stock Bose Stereo system?? Well in the car I'm going to get, the stereo is all OEM... I was under the impression that the CD Changer had to match the headunit... is this true? Are there any changers that would work w/ the stock Bose headunit?? Thanks for your help.

yeah, there are OEM CD changers, which i believe were a dealer install option...i think they are 6 CD changers, and if you search the parts forum, i think there was a guy selling OEM compatible CD changers for about $175
