Lately I've been noticing on startup during rain, the engine makes a constant squeaking sound, but that never happens during dry weather, does this mean my belts are about to call it quits?

btw my '98 SE has almost 75K and still has the original belts.

 

yeah i think you should change your belts, i changed mine for the first time around 79k and they were about to go out.

 

Sounds right to me!
