I'm just wonderin' anyone have to replace their O2 sensors on a '96 max cuz i'm wonderin about where people bought em, how much do they run, and installation. Thanx

I just replaced one today!

Anyway.. mine cost $119, it was the Front left 02 sensor.

It was a bugger to get to. You should get a Chilton manual, that will tell you everything you need to know. if you can't get it by your self, go yo a shop it might cost about $60 if you already have the sensor. But the cost of the instalation from a shop will depend on how much they want to screw you, but i don't think it will be more than $100 just to install.

I have a 95 GLE. Before i found this site my check engine light came on and i brought it to the dealership, who wanted to charge almost 500.00 to change my O2 sensors (Front and Rear). I called around and bought 3 sensors for about $77.00 each. I bought 2 for the manifold and 1 for cat. conver. Then i changed them myself. It was very easy. I bought a Haynes Maxima Manual for $11.00 and saved over $300.00.
