i was at a red light minding my own buissness when a 2K Eclipse Spyder GT 5 speed pulls up all stock. my car was pretty cold..the temp meter was in the middle but still pulled like it was cold...at the green i hear him spin his tires to take off fast. he jumps ahead by half car and i punch it hard...but that sad thing was, i wasnt catching up to him...he shifted nicely into second and i still didnt pull...when i floored it at the beggining..he didnt gain on me at all..but at the same time i didnt gain on him...whats the deal with these little things...are they supposed to be a lot faster then VG auto's?

 

thats no contest....even with the usual bolt ons a vg won't keep up...especially an auto...

 

an auto VG bolt-on isn't faster than a v6 Eclipse, especially a 5-speed.

They do 0-60mph in ~7.0.
Tack on ~0.2 for the Spyder.
