- I need some racing pads. The calipers will be reaching temps of over 500 degrees F. Who makes 'em and where can I get 'em for how much? Thanks.

 

The MaxFAQ mentions Axxis, but I have (and like) the Porterfield R4S pads. I belive the R4 is the pure race version, and costs a bit more. Check out http://www.porterfieldbrakes.com. Yeap, I have porterfield R4S pads, and they work great at high speeds. They dust some though.

 

Porterfield carries a line of race-only pads by "HAWK" racing. those are DAMN good. but might eat your rotors if u tend to brake last and hard....

yeah check out the R4 race pads. those are good.

i too have the Street Version. they give some good bite esp at 100+ mph. you just need to warm them up a bit. and they'll bite hard..
