And now shes running like brand new!!!

My Max was running quite sluggish for the past few months. I just hit 39,000 and got my 30,000 service<late> didnt feel any different so i decided to do a little more.

First off i put in brand new NGK Laser Plats. Next cleaned the Throttle Body eeeeewwwwww!!! Finally recharged the K&N... My goodness the thing runs better than it has in 3 years..

A little TLC never hurts....

i took mine in to ziebart's and it got a $570 dollar bath!! got the diamond gloss paint service. it's like having klasse or zaino polish on 24/7 for 6 months!! they describe it like liquid glass. it looks good on my black maxima! i also got a full interior detail that included a shampoo, antibacterial treatment, leather treatment, etc. i got the car sound deadened, and believe it or not, the car is actually QUIETER!! lastly, got it rustproofed. they got rid of the rusty spots underneath and put a preventative treatment on it.

 

I'm gonna Dynamat the rear deck tomorrow!

How hard is it to clean the throttle body? I'm interested in doing this.

 

not hard at all assuming you have an aftermaket intake. if you have the stock asthma box then its probably a PITA. took me about 30-45 minutes and bunch of toothbrushes

Throttle Body Cleaning

 

everytime i go to clean my TB, it's f-ing clean. it ****es me off. i want to have to clean mine with toothbrushes like you all. i wonder why??
