Got my Stillen Type 2 wing in today...update w pics

I ordered it thursday night so I didn't really expect it today.

It is a little taller than stock and kinda goes up toward the middle. So basically it looks like the old type 2 wing but I hope they got the fitment problems fixed. I am going to try and put it on tonight when it gets cooler because I have a migrane and the heat is makeing it worse.

I will take pics and update when I get it on.

Off the car it looks great and well worth the $205 shipped to never worry about pealing up or cracking paint.

update: I put the wing on but I still need to do some more sanding because it pushes down just a little in the middle right stand. I am through tonight though and will work on it tomorrow and post some pics in the daylight.

I got it straight from Stillen because I tried some of the other places like avalon and eatrice and they said that the type 2 wing was dis-continued. I know that Stillen had a lot of fitment problems with the type 2 and did dis-continue it but I guess this is their second attempt because the fitment wasnt as bad as I remember reading about(of course I havent got it perfect yet either)

It was $205 shipped...I was excited because he let me have it for $175 but then he ripped me for shipping at $30 but that is still lower than advertised. The guy I talked to was Dean at x-182

You and me both. I have the window guy coming monday to take the back glass out of my car and my parts car so I can get the quarter panel fixed next week, put my stillen kit on and then I will be finished with the body work and have to wait til my buddy gets a break so he can paint it.

Oh I almost forgot. It is like Dan said about not fitting the factory holes. You can probably get away with not sealing the holes because it will cover them and the spoiler comes with a sealing gasket that goes on each leg. You will however have to fill in the hole where the factory brake light wire goes through. That is a pretty big hole and I will be welding it up.
