Liquid wrench (auto parts store) it, then let it sit for an hour or so. If that doesn't work, try a breaker bar.

Torque wrenches are for tightening nuts not taking them off. Get a breaker bar and remove the nuts and use the torque wrench to put them back on.

Oh, I didn't notice that he said we was using a torque wrench to try to remove the nuts. Yeah, don't do that.

You can always use a ratchet and put a pipe on the end to give you more leverage, thats what I do but don't hit me if you break your ratchet.

just go to a hardware store and buy a big a$$ metal bar, thats strong enough so it wont bend. the diameter should be big enough so it fits over whatever tool youre trying to extend.

Maybe you're tightening the bolts, not loosening?

Anyway, try autozone for a breaker bar, its less than 20 bucks. Trust me, its money well spent, very useful tool.

Skip the breaker bar. If you're going to AutoZone get some PB Super
Penetrating Lubricant. It comes in a black and yellow can. You will
simply not believe how incredible this stuff is. You can keep it
around for exhaust work as well since all the exhuast nuts/bolts are
a pain the @$$ to work on. You can free up just about any bolt that
isn't overtorqued with just your socket and arm power after a few
shots of this stuff.

...or you could go see your friendly neighborhood mechanic (who has a nice, flat floor - essential for a FSTB install) and give him $20 to do the job, which will take far less time and probably cost less money in the long run.

Just my 1.15 cents (2 cents - after taxes)

PB Blaster is great stuff. Liquid Wrench, WD-40, etc... don't compare. I use PB for every tough bolt to avoid damage (mostly to my knuckles, I can buy a new bolt!) Breaker bars are invaluable. I just use a piece of pipe over my ratchet (Craftsman, so I don't care if it breaks). I carry the pipe in the trunk with my oem lug wrench in case my wife needs to change a flat.
