Today when I was going to work, the ABS light just came on. I pulled over and turned my car off and then when I turned it back on, the light was off. I drove for a bit on the freeway a little slow and tested out my brakes and they feel fine. Anybody know what it can be?

No doubt about it. I will be taking it to the dealership, but I'm hoping that its nothing serious. It just weird how it came on. I'm a little scared driving back home. I'm going to try and get out of work early so I can take it. Would 1-800-Nissan1 have an answer for me on that? What do you guys think?

 

Same thing happened to my Max last week.

 

Did you experience any problems F23A4? Did you take it to the dealership.

 

800-Nissan-1 won't take action unless you've gone to the dealer and had a bad experience. I remember reading on here that there maybe a problem with one of the rear wheel sensors.

Not yet but I am planning to bring it in very soon for that AND the problem of my hood shake (at hwy speeds).

 

The ABS light on my 2K SE came on a couple of weeks ago. I turned off the car and when I restarted it, the ABS light was off. I took my Max in to the dealer and they ran diagnostics. No DTCs were stored in the ECU. The ABS light hasn't come on since then.

 

Hey guy's I get it all the time after I wash my car by hand and throw some armor all on the tires. Then after I shut it off and restart it the light goes away.

 

I think its when you shoot water on the brakes and wheels.
