The rim size is 17x7.5
Also will 235/45/17 tires fit these wheels?

I "think" 7.5 will be fine w/ the 30mm offset. 8" might be pushing it. 235 is okay for 7.5 but a no no for 7" rims.

What about 18x8 with 30mm offset? Will it smack against something?
I'm sorry for asking all of these questions.

18x8, 30mm offset and 235-40-18s should work. But I think they will be very close to the outside fenderwell. Depends on how low you are. Some fender rolling might be in order.

You are looking at rims? Which ones?

I posted a thread earlier, about 350z wheels. I went to see them and found out that they have a 30mm offset. I¡¦m still deciding between 18x8 and 17x7.5

I think a 30mm offset will have your tires sticking out a little passed the fenders in the front. Not a lot. I personally like the flush look.

I have 40mm and the front is perfectly flush. The back could have used 35mm offset, they are inset just a tad.

i think the best fit for the max is 38mm in front & 35mm in rear.

I'm thinking that these wheels will look like steam rollers on a 4th gen.

I have 17X8 32mm offset wheels. They just barely clear the Brembo brake kit, because of the spoke design. I'll try and get a pic sent to you tomorrow.

With a 30mm offset and 7.5" width wheels, they will stick out about 1/2" beyond the quarter panel assumung around -.3 camber angle.
