Gains from a full 3" exhaust system?
Currently I have a 2.5" y-pipe, hi-flo cat, & catback (dynoed ~266hp and ~331tq while spraying). I'm just wondering approximately how much power would I gain by switching to a full 3" exhaust system. I read somewhere that N02 really "hates" backpressure...

I've thought about that aspect as well, but I'd still like to know how much more power I'd get on the NAAAAWWWWWSSSSS.
My car is already slower off NAAAAWWWWSSSSS due to my colder plugs (I have my own dynos to prove this fact) so I don't care about N/A anymore. j/k hehe
Seriously, I'm not considering a 3" exhaust any time soon...I'm just curious as to the possible gains/losses.

The only person I know of who has done this is Thomas aka sx7r, you should pm or email him and ask. I was considering doing this for a while, till the tranny project came along...

What about just using one of those A/B gates that changes between A. your exhaust setup and then switches over to B. Just open air basicly.
