Does anyone know if the NX remote bottle opener will work with the NOS 5124 kit? Not to sure since the valve for the NX bottle is up top, and the NOS bottle is to the side.

A Fellow org member and friend of mine (JDM MAX) is running the nx opener with the 5124 set up and hasnt had any complications with it. The install looks straight foward and i dont think he had to alter anything to make it fit.. The discription from NX themselves say its a universal bottle opener so it should be good...you can probably pm him if you have any questions.

I just bought JDM's setup so it better work

The pic he sent me of the application of the NX opener looked fine.

OHHH your the sucker that picked up his kit... i was over his house the other day when he was un installing all of it. Trust me you are going to have alot of fun with this kit and you got a good deal with everything it came with.. he went from the slowest maxima on the west coast to the fastest over night He put down the fastest times out of all the maxima's that raced 2 weeks ago. Including me with my 55 shot zex kit.

have fun man,

Jon

yes thanks for the comentary jon. you could have left out the slow part. but yeah it works fine. just remmeber not to have the bottle vavle shut to tightly or the opener won't have enough torque to open the valve. there is a way to make the clutch on the opener stronger but i would not mess with it. its set perfect right now.
