You have to tap into your fuel line. I installed mine above the fuel filter. You will have to get some brass hose T's from someplace like Home depot, and some extra fuel line. Make sure you get some hose clamps and use Fuel Injection line, it's designed to hold more pressure than regular fuel hose. Good luck.

Use 5/16th Hi Pressure Fuel Injection line and a T with 1/8 thread to 5/16th tips and screw your fitting from gauge to it...I can post a picture of mine if it helps...but it is exactly as I described.

here are three shots...it is a brass trio of fittings...1/8-1/8-1/8 threaded female fitting and two 1/8 male threaded fitting to 5/16th male hose fitting...cost...$5 at Pep Boys

it is fixed to the same line as the one from the fuel filter to the manifold...I lengthened the hose with extra to mount it where you see it now.

Here's my fuel tee w/ the sender.

Hope that helps.

p.s. Get 5/16th fittings, 3/8's will be too big. I had a hell of a time getting the 5/16th fitting into the hoses.

I'm about to setup my fuel line with my fuel pressure gauge and my fuel pressure safety switch. So basically everything should run in series right?

Also do the gauge/FPSS have to be before the filter?

Pump -> Tee (FPSS) -> Tee (Gauge Sender) -> Filter -> Out

It would be a lot easier if they made a 5/16-5/16 Tee with 2 1/8" threaded holes for BOTH units.

That is a good question Hype. I was wondering the same thing. I have seen most setups after the filter and that is what I did.

It would be awesome to have 1 tee instead of 2, and it wouldn't be much harder to make. If you ever removed something you could just use plugs.

Here's pictures of my tees for those interested

Finally, I don't see why it would make a difference whether you put the tees before or after the fuel filter. Both locations are before the injectors, so it seems like you would be getting the same reading at either location.
