Fuel Pressure Tees seem to have a slight leak

I installed my fuel pressure sender and FPSS about 4 weeks ago. My fuel pressure has read fine (I haven't noticed any changes), but while working on my car this weekend I noticed they may be leaking some.

Here's a few more pictures: http://imageevent.com/xhypex/nitrous?n=0
I used Teflon paste, tightened the fittings securely, and used fuel injector clamps, but it still looks like I have a slight leak. The tees have never dripped fuel, but I can see some residue. Any advice? Should I be concerned?

I know WizzaMax is using the same Tees without incident (or at least no problems to my knowledge). I used teflon paste on the threads, and tightened them as much as I could

Leaking fuel is never a bad thing. Also you may get a bigger leak once you actcually start spraying, because the system will see much higher pressures.

I installed a bunch of T's this week for oil pressure and temp senders before the SC. Initially I just tightened all the fittings using a pair of wrenches in my garage. They leaked. I had to take them apart, and put one end in a vice and tighten the crap out of them. Seriously, I put everything I had into getting those suckers tight.

No more leaks.

So what's your advice.... pull them and retighten? I know the pressure will be higher when I spray, but I also know that it's easy to mutilate the tees since they are copper

That's where I would start. If that doesn't help, maybe you have a hose clamp issue.

If you're sure the clamps are good and tight (I don't even know what a "fuel injector" clamp is), check the line. Its possiable that a small hole was poked in it or something.

looks brass to me.

Never had a problem with my fittings, i use teflon tape instead of paste though. yeah, yeah, i know what they say about tape vs paste. just start about 3 threads down.

I had a problem with your teflon tape though! I bought my nitrous kit from someone through you (don't remember his name). After installing it I got no power. Turned out that the inline filter was plugged by a small piece of tape.

Brass copper whatever; both are pretty soft metals. I really don't want to pull the tees again, so I'll see what happens when the fuel pressure increases.

It wasn't exactly hard to fix. I just figured it happened during shipping. God know what the USPS did with the boxes.

I used the EXACT ones pictured with paste and have had NO leaks from the T at all so far (knock on wood)

pressure is only monitored in hood so it does not get seen much ...

anyway, seeing the small cost and your obvious concern for the fitting threads, just buy new ones and don't risk re-using damaged parts...good luck
