I'm running just a basic Zex kit. Just a 50 shot though. All I have is just a intake and catback exhaust with a 1 step colder plugs.

they help in the efficient combustion and keep cylinder temps down a bit doe to the quicker burn of nitrous..

Copper plugs will also give a more consistant spark than precious metal ones and will not blow out. Don't mess around with plugs use the recommended heat range and type from your nitrous manuf.

I believe you are taking an unecessary risk by using platinum or other precious metal plugs. The main reason for using them is to extend their life before replacement they are not as efficient as their copper counterparts. Also much more heat is generated with nitrous and the colder plugs will help reduce that temperature.

You may be ok for smaller shots but why take the risk.

Just for kicks last weekend I put back in my standard range plugs to make some N/A runs to see if their was any difference and times were the same so from now on I will just leave my 2 step colder copper plugs in all the time.

Ya pretty much the same weather, only one week apart. I also did one run with a 35 shot on the stock plugs and it was the same as the previous weekend with 2 steps colder too.

The main reason I run colder is to prevent detonation and run a little cooler. Performance is secondary.
