Looking to Juice

I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima SE Auto 17,000 miles and I am looking for a setup that will work well with my car. I have heard allot of different stories with what needs to be done to the car before Nitruous. I only plan on running a 50 Shot and a 70-75 shot at the track a couple of times to see what I can pull off with the extra 25 if anything.

So bottom line is I am adding a 50 - 60 - 70 adjustable kit can I get away with this with stock components meaning fuel pump injectors etc..
The car is also bone stock no CAI or other intake or exhaust mods BONE STOCK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The big question is can I use this kit without upgrading fuel pump, injectors, etc....

And run it on my bone stock 03 Max ??? That is what I can't seem to find out.

Yes

You can probably run 100 with no problem but I would stick with 75 and below to be safe. Get a fuel pressure gauge, it will soon tell you if pressure is dropping any, if it is then you need to upgrade the pump.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. The other question is what kinda long term effects will this have on the motor. Will I be decreasing the life of my motor by using it??

The kit that was mentioned in this post that seems to be very popular does it have any safety built in if the fuel pressure drops below a certain PSI??? or will it spray no matter what the Fuel pressure is? I know that the NOS kits come with a custom tuned fuel pressure reg that will shut down the Nitrous if it falls below pressure.

1. Any form of boost or power increasing mod will reduce the life of your motor. However, if you keep it to 75 and below and monitor your engine the likelihood of having problems are greatly reduced and it should be fine for years.

2. The 20923 NX kit does not come with the safety pressure switch as standard equipment you have to order the GenX upgrade kit with it to have it. The kit also includes a Nitrous pressure gauge and bottle heater etc which are needed if you want to have your system consistant and safe at all times.
