$ for a proper setup?

I'd like to get a NX dry kit for my 96 5speed. What will I 'need' to spend to get a reliable kit (50 or 75, depending on the price differance)? I'd like pressure monitoring in the bottle, have a window switch, and a bottle heater if its really required, safety wise. What total cost am I looking at to get a decent, reliable kit going?

NX makes a wet kit #20923 and they run around $460 to $500 plus shipping

Window switch - MSD, need switch and RPM pills, not sure I bought mine used for $70 bucks

Nitrous Pressure - prices vary, $99 to $199 depending on the type of gauge

Bottle heater - recommended to keep pressure level in the bottle high, $130 ish.

All in all, you are probably looking at $800 to $1000 depending on what all you want/need.

Gauges can be pruchsed through Jegs, Summit etc. AutoMeter, DEfi, Blitz etc etc.

Kit can be purchased through a vendor here but I would not pay more than $460 for the kit.

Heater, opener etc can be purchased via NX - they have a Genx-2 kit for around $339.90.

Do some reading in this forum and these questions and many more will be answered. You also might want to check the FAQ's at the top of the nitrous forum.

Good luck and post if you have more questions!

^ Yep, its just not as safe for the engine. You can also gain some hp from a bottle heater and the proper tuning.
