Liquid Nitrous

Ive noticed that many are trying to get just liquid n20 into the intake. like with the use of purge valves etc. i also notice that for some reason bottles are being mounted with the top end slightly higher than the bottom end. basically the bottle would sit at an angle. to get pure liquid owuldnt it make sense to mount the bottle practically upside down? this way the liquid would sit at the bottom an right near the vlave opeing?

Nitrous is stored in liquid state in the bottle because it is easier this way and turns to gas once it is introduced into open atmosphere? Its easier for gas to enter the engine than liquid. Doesnt matter which way you will mount the bottle, nitrous will always come out in gas form.

A tube extends from the valve down into the bottom of the nitrous bottle and then to the bottom side away from the label. Thats why the bottles lay down, slightly elevated from the front, to get the last bit of liquid out of the bottle, when you start putting out a gas the bottle is empty. The high pressure gas in the top of the bottle forces the liquid out that tube and to your solenoids, purge or nitrous and then to your nozzles.

SonicDust is correct saying the liquid turns to a gas as soon as it is introducted to the atmosphere. When you use your purge valve and you see a really white cloud, that is liquid coming out that is converting into a gas the instant it hits the atmosphere.
