I spray in all gears and all RPM from start to finish in the 1/4.

The big problem comes from spraying at low RPM in higher gears. This never happens if you let the auto shift itself because it never drops below 4k RPM. However if you were on the road at higher speeds at low RPM spraying can be detrimental to your engine's health. Its worse for 5 speed guys because they can run really low RPM in high gears, the auto will just downshift.

Spraying at low RPM in 1st gear is not a problem because the RPM builds so fast there is no danger, its when you spray and the engine can't build RPM fast like in higher gears that causes problems.

Some folks, nitrous kit builders included say not to spray below 3k RPM but they are trying to protect idiots against themselves.

im doing the nx wet kit, i am starting my way at 35 and working up to the 75 as i add some more mods to handle the extra power, i plan to keep it safe by adding 1 step colder plugs, fp and egt gauges, and upgrading the fuel pump, i already did the drop resistor mod, are there any other precautionary mods i can do?
