Nitrous Discuss dry, wet, and direct port nitrous setups. How many shots can you handle?

For the record....who has run the highest shots on stock motor?

For the record....who has run the highest shots on stock motor?

I'm just curious....because according to NOS website.

"Due to the high power levels and cylinder pressures produced by Sportsman Fogger Systems it is highly recommended that you use high quality forged pistons and rods as well as high quality racing ignition system with timing control. If horsepower gain is more than 40% of original, forged pistons are recommended."

I'm way pass the 40%

I dont know who has run the highest shot, but what are you running?
SR20DEN ran a 150 shot, I have not heard of any higher than that.

I'm sure no one will believe me but i've run a 73 and 82 pill before to run with the super big boys in Tampa. This is on a dry system and only roll-ons from 50mph and up. Anything slower and the tires would melt. However, i didn't use this size at the track because I couldn't engage the nitrous until 1/3 to 1/2 way down the track-seemed pointless.

......Rev hard and "Shift_My Dong"......

And to run shots like this, all that is needed is a aftermarket fuel pump and colder spark plugs? and no problems

I'm running 125. NOS #24 (0.024) fuel jets and #18 (0.018) nitrous jets. It's great on the street from a roll, but at the track it's way too much for the street tires. I can get better time with 100 shot.

I have the exact same setup now.

I ran 125 shot dry before too.

Everything after 125 shot is scary regardless.
