DO i have to put a hole in my injen for nitrous?

DO i have to put a hole in my injen for nitrous?

i have an injen intake.. would i need to make a hole in it to install that little nitrous spray point?...or do i have this all wrong?

your getting the zex dry kit, right? If its a dry kit, then you can get one of the air filters that has a plug in the end for nitrous.

I would tap the injen up near the throttle body if it was me, but the filter would probably work also.

if i put it in the filter... won't that be way too far from the throttle body? i thought the spray point had to be fairly close to it...

It will def. be farther than the recommonded distance, but it should still be ok if you use the filter adapter. You may also consider selling the CAI and getting a short ram to tap for nitrous, or put the filter on the end of the short ram. Just a couple ideas.

use the threaded bung from the Zex kit and tap it four or so inches from the TB for best results...then you can plug it with a rubber stopper or bolt it shut when you dont want the Injen anymore....

I've always thought that the spray should be before the MAFS. Any cons about putting it after it like it would be if on the filter?

i can only imagine how crazy the MAF would go if nitrous was sprayed before it...
