Sure its possible. My MPH for a 35 shot is 103 but not with a 60' like that.

I'm still in shock on how you went from 94 all motor to 103 with a 35 shot.

Yes but Jime is on slicks which allows him to hook up but this guy is on street tires. Either the track is extremely grippy or he is not telling something.

slicks doesn't raise your trap speeds that much...

I know but they allow for hook up from dead stop, however this guy is on street tires. I cant see a 60 shot in first gear without traction problem. Plus he said he was running lean thus makes me believe he was over pressurizing the bottle to give a higher shot with a 60 n2o jet.

slicks actually hurt my top end. My fastest trap was done on street tires.

I'm with sonic on this. He probably superheated the bottle and was closer to 100 shot specs.

103mph trap indicates that he was putting down some good HP at the end of the run, but with a 2.5 60' you would HAVE to be putting down some serious numbers. It's hard to run 13's with a 2.5 60' w/o some nads behind you.

He had a 2.2 60' when he ran 13.6.

Your speculation is correct. Although I no longer operate at such a high pressure, the bottle was heated to about 1150-1200psi which made a world of difference.

Normally at that pressure, I got a tremendous amount of wheelspin all the way to 3rd gear, not to mention the track conditions are horrible, but that night was an exception for I hooked up a little better than I normally did.

Yeah I did, till I watched a friend blow a head gasket. He was runnin the same bottle pressure as I usually did and he ended up leaning out waay too much and that's all it took.

Now i tend to stay around 1050ish. An 85 shot isn't as forgiving as a 60

Why not be really safe and run a 100 shot with the proper jet sizes and the bottle at the recommended 950?

If you heat up the bottle to the 1050 range, you will probably be close to 100 shot but you will have a high tendency to run lean and blow something since the nitrous side is the only one going up.

I've tried the recommended 950 and it just doesn't hit as hard as I'd like it to. I've found that at 1050, with my current setup, I can run an 85 shot without leaning out. As a matter of fact, I'm actually running a litle rich. I'd step up to a 100 shot but my clutch is on it's last leg and it's gotta last me till I move to Cali in June. Hopefully by then I'll have enough saved up for a new clutch and slicks. I'm thinkin at the lower altitude, more nitrous, a stronger clutch, and the slicks, I can definetly pull off 11's.

SmoothMax, What clutch are you running....and how long did it last you with the nitrous setup?

I was running on the stock clutch for about a year or so before it started slipping. Haven't decided on what clutch to go with next. Waiting for something with real good reviews. How bout you?
