newbie to NO2...

I am the same guy with a geforce ecu...i have talked to the guys over there and they will make 2 programs for me...the stock one made for when not sprayin and another one for when I am where it will retard my timing...in either case, I am interested in the NX kit....I don't know if I should get a dry kit or wet kit...I don't know which is better and why....? In addition, say I don't retard my timing and stay with the geforce ecu timing, if i run 100 octane, what shot will I be able to run safely? without doing any fuel upgrades? I know when running stock timing and standard premium grade octane, maxima guys can run up to a 60 shot or so without any fuel upgrades..., so with stock timing i will run a 50-60 shot, but if i keep my upgraded timing, I will run 100 octance and run what? without any fuel upgrades?

First lesson:

NO2 = Nitrogen Dioxide (Greenhouse gas)

N2O = Nitrous Oxide (Oxidizer)

Hey SR20DEN i have a question. what exactly went wrong with your nitrous setup to cause your engine to blow. were you running to lean and what kind of setup where you running(wet i think). I am really looking into getting a wet setup.

I never said I blew an engine. Everyone else did.

I said #2 went lean and burned the piston. And I went all the way through 4 gears and part of 5 to catch a pretty fast car when I was using a massive shot.

oh. i remember you saying something about there being only 2 pistons for your engine in all of the US. anyways I want some extra horsies and i trust you the most as far as nissan engine info with a nitrous setup go. so what type of kit did you by(wet or dry) and why.

My first setup on the VQ35 was a dry system. I made a thread on how to set that up on a returnless fuel system.

You're actually better off with the Zex wet system because the dry setup is more expensive and complex for a returnless system.
Besides, the writeup was posted on the .org in May of 2002.
