Well, since it's just a Sneeky Pete kit, I'm really not sure. Looks like it's made out to be able to be used with stock setups since it's just a small shot and all...but again, I'm not sure. Anyone?

Well you have to keep in mind that the Sneeky Pete system is designed for carburetored vehicles. This means that there is no fuel pressure increase, since you are expected to jet the carbs a little richer, which you can't do since you have fuel injection.

Of course there are ways to get around this. One way is to get the parts from a N.O.S. EFI import kit and utilize their solenoids and fuel pressure regulator. It's not as expensive or difficult as it sounds, probably $150 for a gently used set (this includes both solenoids, fuel pressure regulator, lines, tee, and a WOT switch. You would basically be using an EFI import kit with a Sneeky Pete bottle.

Another options is getting an Apex'i AFC or similar device, which lets you adjust your fuel curve. You can increase fuel a little for nitous driving, but you will need to know how to operate this properly and dyno tune it to ensure you aren't running too rich.

To be honest the easy thing to do would be to buy an EFI import kit and then add a Sneeky Pete bottle in the cabin. But you should know that a 10oz bottle is only going to hold 1 shot, and you might get tired of that. You can only do one run at the track on the bottle, and if you screw up that's it. You could add multiple bottles but that would be very costly.

And of course the general nitrous requirements, you should get 1-stage colder copper plugs. That's about it. Maybe a valve-body mod.

I doubt he's going to need the valvebody mod. I mean, how much power can you even jet for from 10oz? Certainly can't be enough to potentially harm the transmission...

If anything, do the drop resistor mod (and preferably a transmission cooler with it [about $35])

Valve-body mod is a precaution. You can certainly cause harm from a 35-shot, and a 10oz bottle can give you that.

Drop resistor is okay for performance, but remember it puts more strain on your transmission. Tranny cooler is definitely a good idea.

there is as plug above the right strut bar. disconnect it. this is the drop resistor mod. If you want to be a little more advanced,
cut one of the wires
now take a wire (i use spearker wire) and connect this wire to one end of the wire that was cut.
run this speaker wire through the firewall and connect it to a simple on/off switch.
now take another piece of speaker wire, connect it to the switch and run it though the fire wall, back to the hood.
now connect this wire to the other end of the cut wire
this allows you to easily change from having the resistor mod and not having it.

the drop resistor mod is a modification which allows your gears to shift harder, and faster. this will increase your speed. keep in mind, this is only able to be done on an automatic transmission so dont bust your *** looking for this plug if you own a manual transmission vehicle.\

If you want to learn more about this modification, go to google.com and search "drop resistor mod"
