Okay I want to spray a 100 shot on my Automatic maxima only
like twice from a roll to race a cocky kid. My mods are a
cattman y-pipe,hi-flow cat and muffler and a stillen intake.
I was told if I do the trans mod and unplug it. It wil be okay?

Do you think it will be safe or blow it up? I have used nitrous before but not
on my maxima. thanks

 

Your going to buy a whole kit, or transfer an exsisting one on to your maxima, seems like alot of trouble. You will definatily have to do the drop resistor mod(tranny mod) and don't spray in first.

 

does any one have the write up on the drop resistor mod? i really need it thanks

i konw but i was looking for one on a 2002. i dont know how to do the WOT on the 2002 because it has an electronic TB.

 

You want a WOT switch that reads the voltage of your TPS sensor (like the ones that come with ZEX kits). I believe NOS and NX have similar versions available although you may have to order it separately from the kit.

 

if your going dry you will blow it and if your going wet you should be fine.
but make sure you have it tested to make sure your not running lean.
i run a 100 shot every now and then but my tranny has been modified
so i have no advice on that part of durability. but i ran a 75 shot dry stock for a while and it held up pretty good well it didnt blow i mean,
but it has its wear and tear..
