CAI necessary for Nitrous...

I had a noob question. I love all the information included in this organizational website. I was wondering if a CAI was necessary for a NX wet kit. If I could just get a k&n filter replacement and install the nitrous, it would be better in my situation. I was thinking that the air\fuel will still be the same with no problems but with less airspeed because of the stock intake box. Just wondering if I am correct and it is safe. Thanks alot.

I'm running a 75 shot with a stillen intake, which is basiclly a KN fiter instead of the stock air box. Never have had a problem. The shot hp ratings are rated on a stock engine. A cai, which you can do without, will just help the nitrous work i little better.
