Want to spray my 6th gen
I'm new to the nitrious thing, but I want to give it a try. I have an auto 6th gen and was wondering what is my best bet on a NOS setup?
Should I go with a wet or dry setup, do I need to do any mods to the vehicle cause I'm spraying? Is it worth it or am I gonna f*ck up my car and void it's warranty?
I primarely want to do a staged setup with a 35, 50, and 75 shot? Is it a good idea?
Also I'm looking for a low 12 second 1/4 mile on twinkes, what shot would put me there?
Sorry for all the questions, i'm hungry for speed

However on the receit they put that the car has nitrous injection, so its on record. I guess in of a future problem. Keep that in mind.
Lows 12s huh. Its not hard but it will take some work. Your car is heavier than all other Maxima up to the 6th gen. So would think bone stock with a 75 shot you should run mid 13s. Mods like CAI, headers and a good exhaust you should be around 13. My setup on my 2002 6sp is intake, headers, a b-pipe and a 75 shot NX wet kit. Its not a low 12 second car but 2 nights ago I took a 2003 M3 coupe and was pulling slighty on a Z06. Not bad for a 4 door sedan.
If you get nitrous, driving your Maxima will be 10 times funner. Have fun!

I'm sorry. did you say you wanted to run a low 12 second 1/4 on twenty-inch rims?
Anyway, I feel that the NX wet kit would be your best bet to get started out. Call Southwest Autoworks and ask for Steve. Thats who I bought mine from and he was great to deal with.

Get some small wheels (like 16x8) and some slicks. Personally I would run an NX wet kit with at least a 100 shot for a low 12. I am not sure about 6th gen fuel pumps, but I know a 5th gen should upgrade for that shot so I would check into that. Probably want an intake and supporting gauges.
Also, tranny cooler with drop resistor would be recommended.
