Which One Would You Choose???

I am new to nitrous, but decided to go with it.
Which one would you guys recommend to go with:

- ZEX Dry kit
- ZEX Wet
- NX Dry
- NX Wet

I want a simple one to install, am not sure if I am up to task with wet (because of the fuel line splicing etc.). About a 50 shot sould probably be enough for now.

Car is a 99 GLE, Cali Spec with 110K, automatic. Mods are: intake, y pipe and muffler.

Thanks for all replies

First get a vb or Drop resistor mod for transmission. Second I would go with NX kit, and NX only makes wet kits.

What are the VB and Dropresistor mods and what do they do?
I called ZEX and they recommended to go with their wet system, so maybe they came out with it recently, but they do have them.

I thougt getting one of those systems is all I need, but what about the bottle warmers, pressure gauges, purge kits... is it all really necessary?
Can you or anyone tell me what basics do I need to run this safely in my car?

you will want a bottle heater and a pressure gauge. The VB and drop resistor mods save your tranny by shifting faster and more accurately. Check out Maximum Tuning V2 VB mod.

Neptune, true I didn't do much research at the time when I asked the question, but lately I read all the stickies and many threads in this forum, and still some of my questions are not answered.

SonicD. How necessary is the VB mod? It looks like it would cost around $500. Including the $ of Nitrous, it is more than I wanna spend. I am not planning on spraying a all the time, just here and there. I don't even go to the track.

Wouldn't I be fine with just a kit itself? Lot of people say bottle warmer is a must too, but if it is too cold outside, I am not gonna be spraying anyways, duo to tirew slipping on cold pavement.

What are the absolute must haves and how much are they?
- Kit, about $500
- what else???

If your gonna juice it, the VB now is gonna be cheaper than a tranny later.

get the bottle warmer. as you use the nitrous, the bottle will get colder and colder and pressure will drop so you need the warmer to maintain the bottle pressure.

if your starting out small with lets say a 50 shot, you dont need anything at all but maybe a bottle heater and blanket for starters. the v.b mod can come later as you increace your shot and what ever else you have the budget for. i started off with a 60 shot dry from stillen with nothing else but a air intake for at least 2yrs. i still have the same kit 5yrs later intact and working. when you get bored and have some more money then you worry about the other stuff. i did a tranny upgrade and v.b 2yrs later when i increased my shot to 100 to be on the safe side. i still have the original tranny i started off with and its still pretty decent though i could always use a new one
