50 shot and ecu Qs

Im thinking about getting a 50 shot, not sure either dry or wet yet. Im planning to get a TS ecu before but I read a post before that it wouldnt be safe to run nitrous with the ecu because the advanced timing and other things. Also, where can I put the nozzle with my hacked airbox?

you would need the J&S ultrasafeguard to run nitrous with the TS ecu....cause the ultrasafeguard comes with a wire that you wire into your nitrous selenoid so that when you activate the selenoid via a toggle switch or other method, the J&S turns down you timing to what you specify....stock would be a good number...the J&S safeguard basically taps into your ecu and tells it to turn down the timing from there...

Have you called TS and talked to them about an ECU for Nitrous?

wow bags is in the nitrous section...didn't even notice...LOL...I talked to Danny at TS and they said cause of the inherent design difference in their ecu's vs. Jwt's, they can't do a seperate nitrous program

Not me, I run stock ecu and S-AFCII. I am not a TS ECU believer.

Not running a J&S just the S-AFCII.

You could get the JWT nitrous daughterboard to go along with their regular ECU. It retards timing and alters the A/F ratio.

I'll be installing the Safeguard unit as soon as it gets here. John is taking his time apparently...

I wouldn't get a jwt nitrous ecu - gawd that's a waste of money. An ecu that binds you to a fixed timing retard whenever you switch to nitrous mode. If you want the n/a benefits of an ecu with advanced timing just get the cheaper of a ts or jwt, and invest in a J&S Safeguard.

Of course the best option of all is to not get your ecu modified if you're going fi. I wish I never did get my TS ecu.
