Spary 411?

ive been thinking bout goin spary after i get my headers...i dont know much bout nitrous systems and been tryin to research it lately. i got an '98 95500 mi auto with cai udp venom400 straight pipe greddysp1 and soon cattman headers/ypipe...from what ive been reading i can run a 50 shot stock(i plan to run a 75 or 100(would it be safe)...but will need gagues fuel pump and etc if i run anything bigger?..but with these mods will i need to invest more into the nitrous system acc.(remote opener/heater/af fp gagues/pumps/? what would be a good system to run brand/shot/wet or dry/shot?any help will go a long way..thanks

also i live in miami fl...i have black leather int with 5% tints and it feels like a sweat box 99% of the time i enter my car..would a bottle heater be neccessary considering i live in such heated area..or i will only be heating it up at nite?

I don't mean to be a d!ck, but this stuff has been posted hundreds of times already. I bet if you read down this page, you could probably find a similar thread that would answer all your questions.

Anyway, read some of the already existent threads, the FAQ's/stickies, and then post away if you have any specific issues/questions that need addressed. Good luck

ok since im running a venom400 which tricks my car to pump more fuel into the injectors.Should i run a NX wet kit with smaller fuel jets. or should i keep them the same fuel jets, for a ex a 75 shot, and increase the size of the nitrous jets to a 100shot due the fact its running more gas?

I honestly don't know much about that Venom unit. Does it trick the injectors to spray more fuel or does it trick the pump into pumping more? If it doesn't mess with the pump, then I'd think you'd be fine. If it does mess with the pump, you're going to have either get rid of it, or drop some loot on dyno testing.

well i read its aslo good for nitrous...it extends the redline some but not much...im not sure if it works with the pump or injectors...but either way it plays wit one of the 2..i guess ill have to call venom and talk to them about it..but i want to get all my nitrous info down pact to get full potential out of the 400...also would a msd ignition kit run nice on a maxima? i never heard of anybody having it on here..i heard its meant for vtec/nitrous setups due to its mulitple sparks..

Wet seems to be a safer choice. Almost every Max running spray is using a wet kit. Most are using the NX set up.

MSD has nothing available for the maxima. I have talked to their techs about 5 or 6 times about different things, and kep trying to get them to develop something. And I am running a 80hp dry shot right now, and I'll have a 150 wet shot to top it off in a day or two. If the computer increases the fuel, then dyno tuning changing out the fuel jets will be the best way to go. Most of the companies that make nitrous kits are very conservative on the size of the fuel jet. You can usually go one jet smaller for fuel, and lean it out some for more power.
