Stange plug problem.
Stange plug problem.
Well,
I have just changed over from my stock plugs to what I was told were 2 steps colder plugs, but ever since I did that the car would idle fine for awhile then would sputter abit then die.
If I changed back to the old plugs the car would run fine again.....
I have been playing around with the gap with no luck...
Has anyone ever seen this problem before?
Is there a certian gap need for colder plugs??
Thankx,

The guy I got this from runs a Nitrous setup in his Interga and works at our local parts shop, he looked it up and said that the plugs he gave me would be what I would need to run boost in my Max...

I am pretty sure thats your problem. Did a little research and that plug is for a Saab 9000 and its a Gold Paladium fine wire.
Here is the chart for Maxima's, if you have a 4th Gen I suggest copper NGK's which would be a BKR7ES.
