upgrade fuel pump necessary?

At what size shot do most people start upgrading their fuelpump? Most threads i've seen when people go to like 100 shot it seems like they upgrade. Right now i'm at a 75 shot is my stock fuel pump good here?

Also, where can i find 100+ jets. I have a ZEX kit.. and from what i'm finding ZEX doesnt sell bigger jets than 75? Where did you guys get yours, does anyone else have experience with ZEX or is it just NX around here lol let me know.

I always saw it as your safe with the stock pump until about 55-65 shot. After that you need an upgraded fuel pump.

They do sell larger jets, you just have to figure out which one you need for 100 shot.

Does everyone else also upgrade the fuel pump to run a 75 shot? If i didnt, am i putting myself at risk of any major problems.. or just not getting the full effect of a 75 shot. Seems to me i could be running nitrous rich because of this

I guess it's a question of safety...
CAN you run a 75 shot on the stock pump? Sure
Is it necessarily the safest way to go? No.
Since I started inquiring about nitrous, it's always been recommended to me to go with a higher flow staring at a 75 shot.

Also depends if you have a dry or wet kit. You can go higher with a wet kit as the dry kit raises your fuel pressure much higher.

Bottle line is you need to check your plugs and dyno to see if you are reaching the limits of your pump.

Is 250whp too much for the stock fuel pump?

i have been using 75 shot dry with stock fuel pump, regapped copper vpowers, and no problems. I went through about 10 bottles as of now with no problems(i just change plugs more often), but my car is in top shape with all new sensors and all so it may not be safe for everybody.

i have been running a 75 dry shot on my stock pump for about 20+ 10lbs bottles and no issues yet. i do plan on upgrading my pump when i go with a larger shot, or more or less just for the heck of it because it would be safer.
