Fuel questions regarding Zex kit

So I have purchased a complete ZEX dry kit along with the purge kit. I will be going to a one step colder NGK platinum plug. I plan on running the nozzle into the front of my k&n cone, similar to the zex air filter that they sell or I may drill directly into the throttle body. My question though is about fuel. Would it be wise to go with a Walbro fuel pump or can i just run the system with a FPR set at about 42-46psi? Or would I need both? or none at all? I realize that the zex system will not release any nitrous unless the throttle is a full tilt (when the micro switch has been activated) and there is enough fuel. I just want to make sure that I don't lean out. O'ya, i plan on running a 60 shot.

Thanks.

You want the shortest run possible so you would want it either in the throttle body, or right on the outside of it. I chose not to drill mine, so I just drilled a hole in my intake piping right infront of the TB.

You can probably get away with running the stock fuel pump and running a bit higher fuel pressure, but if you want to be safe since you are starting to get up there with shot size, you might want to get a walbro pump. The problem with going with a bigger fuel pump is that you will need a fuel pressure regulator to turn the fuel pressure down. I got my fuel pump fairly cheap and I found a used FPR so it was worth it. makes it easier to upgrade later too.

You also might want to look into an FMU. My friend had zex in his grand am and the computer auto adjusted the injectors after adjusting the FPR. the FMU fixed that problem.

Doesn't work the same on the Maxima, you don't need an FMU. Get a new fuel pump though, Walbro. Don't cheap out, you'll regret it later.

Please don't use platinum plugs, get either copper or iridium both of which work well with nitrous.
