Are the Zex jets a different length than the standard jets. I have one to install and my brother's car, but the jet seem to long.

 

I have been told that all jets are made by the same company with different lettering on them but I can't confirm that.

I have always used the jets from the company that made the kit.

 

I read ZEX uses NX jets and NOS jets have a longer shank, is that true?

 

I went to a shop here Friday to buy 100 shot jets, and they only had the Fuel Jets for Zex, and Nitrous Jets for NOS. I didn't compare the two, but the numbers on the jets were the same for NOS and Zex. I'm sure they are the same, but not sure about the different lengths in shanks.

 

Just from pictures...ZEX = NX and NOS has longer shanks. Hole sizes vary depending on type of kit and applications, so they overlap.
